The Dalí Theatre-Museum exhibits 'Depart. Homage to Fox Newsreel'

The Loggias room at the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres presents an artwork of Salvador Dali entitled Depart. Homage to Fox Newsreel (1926). This is a temporary loan to the Gala-Salvador Dali from a private collection before traveling to the Pompidou Center this fall, on the occasion of a major retrospective of Salvador Dalí.

To mark the temporary loan, the Dalí Foundation has redesigned one of the spaces of the itinerary of the museum, located in Torre Galatea, which also features six artworks from the Dalí Foundation funds directly related to this painting: the oil Venus and Sailor and five drawings of the same subject.

The installation, designed by Pep Canalaeta with graphic design by Alex Gifreu will be displayed until 28 October in the Hall of the Loggias at the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres.

In the event that you change your mind or, simply, the artwork do not convince you after receiving your order, you have a return/change period of 14 working days without additional costs (limited to 150€ in shipping costs), starting the day after the reception of the order.


To proceed with a change or a return, follow the steps below:

  • - Email us at customerservice@artelista.com so that our Customer Service department can contact you (Mon-Thurs, 10:00 – 14:00 and 16:00 – 18:00 / Fri, 10:00 – 14:00 Spain local time). Please, try to have on hand the order ID to facilitate and accelerate this process.
  • - The Courier will pick up the package on the place and date agreed, and once we receive the artwork, we will proceed with the refund of the paid amount.
