Las llanuras cubiertas de pasto y limitada por una serranía son una imagen común en el paisaje insular fuertmente deforestado desde el sig.XVI.Solo escapan de la tala los mogotes y las arboledas con palmas que a manera de islas interrumpen la planicie. Sirva también este trabajo como homenaje a los maestros del paisaje cubano.
