Nicolas Bravo (1786- 1854)
Nació y murió en Chilpancingo Gro. Caudillo de la independencia, al inicio del movimiento insurgente siempre mostró simpatía por la emancipación política de México. En mayo de 1811 se unió a las fuerzas del general H. Galeana cuando este atacó Chichihualco. Concurrió Bravo a las acciones dadas por Morelos en el sur destacándose por su valor en el sitio de Cuautla
