El Ávila es una montaña icónica para los Venezolanos. En 1958 fue nombrado Parque Nacional, los pobladores de Caracas le tienen varios sobrenombres, así pues es llamada el pulmón de la ciudad, la sultana de Caracas. Su nombre indígena es Waraira Repano.
El Ávila is an iconic mountain for Venezuelans. In 1958 it was named National Park, the inhabitants of Caracas have several nicknames, so it is called the lung of the city, the Sultana of Caracas. Its indigenous name is Waraira Repano.
