LUNA
Te cantaron los poetas,
te hicieron triste, secreta,
bajo tu luz blanca y quieta
el mágico amor floreció.
Te veo bella en el cielo
con tu corte de brillantes,
eres luna, cual diamante
de magnífico esplendor.
No importa que en este siglo
la ciencia te tecnifique,
el amor no holló tu suelo,
y en musa te convirtió.
Por siempre serás testigo
de aquellos enamorados
que con tu luz se han amado,
que atisban tu resplandor.
Bajo tu manto divino,
envuélveme, luna hermosa,
luna plateada y preciosa,
herramienta del amor.
