El 29 de Abril 2007 se presentó una aureola sobre la ciudad de Poptún, Petén en Guatemala que se mantuvo a partir del medio día durante tres horas. La gente dice que el fenómeno es una señal que se van a morir aquellas personas del pueblo con más edad.
