The series Infanta’s Destruction explores the collapse of innocence, status, and constructed identity. Inspired by the image of the infanta as a symbol of aristocratic childhood, the works transform elegance and ceremony into something fragmented and unstable. The destruction of the figure becomes a metaphor for the loss of certainty, exposing the tension between the identity imposed upon us and the self that exists beneath it.
