Esta hermosa pintura al óleo es un homenaje a la profunda conexión espiritual entre el pueblo mapuche y la fauna nativa del sur de Chile. La obra presenta el delicado retrato de una mujer ataviada con su platería tradicional, donde destacan un hermoso tocado y un pectoral plateado cargado de identidad cultural. Con una mirada llena de ternura y serenidad, contempla a una loica posada en su mano, cuyo característico pecho rojo aporta un vibrante punto de color a la escena. El fondo, trabajado con una texturizada técnica puntillista en tonos azules, celestes y verdes, envuelve a las figuras en una atmósfera mística y natural.
