Artwork details
“This artwork belongs to the Hieros Gamus series, a collection that explores sacred marriages between gods and goddesses. Tropical sensuality is a central theme in this series, and the inclusion of fruits (papaya o fruta bomba) adds a unique flavor to the symbolic messages within the representation.”
The Hieros Gamus, also known as “holy marriage,” has fascinating historical and mythological roots.
