Me obsesionan las figuras que obviamente no se sienten observadas y muestran, por tanto, toda su naturalidad. La mujer emergiendo del agua, a penas lo justo para respirar, abandonándose a la sanación de este elemento primario, como volver a la protección del vientre materno, me enterneció sobremanera. Los arabescos de la espuma en el agua inspiraron el título de esta obra, pues simulan la geometría elegante del Art Nouveau.
