Flower of peace

Work No. 7 in a series begun on February 24, 2022. Created on March 16 — the 20th day of the war. “Flower of Peace” is a visual manifesto set against the brutality of its time. Unlike previous works that document inevitability, this piece asserts an act of resistance through beauty. It represents life emerging from adversity — a symbol of delicate strength.
Like a cactus flower blooming amid thorns, the composition evokes gentleness as a force of opposition. Inspired by cultural movements of the 1960s, it suggests that renewal comes not through force, but through creation, attention, and spiritual effort. The act of blooming becomes a metaphor for gradual transformation — an image of kindness capable of reshaping even the most hostile environment over time.
