El 24 de junio de 1935 Gardel falleció en un accidente aéreo en Medellín, Colombia, durante una escala de su gira internacional.
El cantante había alcanzado fama mundial por su voz y por la difusión del tango en escenarios de Europa y América.
Entre sus interpretaciones más recordadas se encuentran El día que me quieras y Mi Buenos Aires querido.
Su figura se convirtió en un ícono cultural del tango y en una referencia central de la música en español.

LAUTARO PLIERS born in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires on May 20, 1969. He studied art at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes "Manuel Belgrano" and perfected in the "Instituto Universitario Nacional de Arte" (IUNA). Practice while also working on murals and street art with artist Mary Marino and disciples of the maestro Ricardo Carpani.
