The graphic work presents a female figure in a state of inner transformation. The lines of hair and wings merge into a single flowing structure, where the boundary between body and space loses its stability. Birds function not as an external motif, but as a visual metaphor for processes unfolding within the figure itself.
The composition is structured as a slow unfolding — from enclosure and silence toward potential movement. Flight has not yet begun, yet its necessity is already evident. The work addresses the theme of inner freedom not as a gesture or declaration, but as a state that matures gradually and inevitably. The graphic language emphasizes the fragility of the moment: delicate strokes, recurring rhythms, and a restrained tonal range create a sense of tense balance between stillness and the impulse to move beyond one’s limits.
