In this work, space exists in a state that precedes definition. The boundaries between city and nature, time and eternity, humanity and the world have not yet fully emerged. Everything exists as a single breath, in which reality is only beginning to reveal its form.
The small human figure remains a part of this great silent order. With arms raised toward the sky, it expresses an inner readiness to listen to a space where familiar categories lose their meaning.
The World Before Names is a reflection on the idea that the deepest meanings arise before words. It invites the viewer to pause for a moment and experience reality as it exists before our definitions and explanations.

Prize winning Ukrainian artist Lana Korolievskaia's artworks encompass a broad range of subjects and styles. The passing of time, fantasy, magic, mythology, the natural world, portraits and still life's all powerfully expressed in her unique pieces. Experimenting with materials, bold colors and textures each piece is an eclectic mix of her boundless imagination.
