Longing

I painted this piece at a time when I was not doing well at all.

I was emotionally exhausted, and painting was simply my way of disconnecting from everything and allowing myself to relax.

I didn’t create it with the intention of conveying calm or joy. Yet, everyone who saw it seemed to find exactly that peace, serenity, and happiness.

Perhaps it was my way of painting, without realizing that I was creating what I needed most at that moment: a little calm, a little peace.
