Description:
The Instant is part of the From Origin to Pulse series.
The figure remains suspended in the precise moment
before being completely overtaken. Inspired by the
tension of an approaching wave
—whether physical or conceptual— the work evokes
the final second in which identity still exists before
surrendering to a greater force. The body has not yet
disappeared, but the currents have already begun to
reach it, surround it, and slowly claim it.
The painting does not depict catastrophe through
violence, but through silent immersion.
Transparency, fragmentation, and fluid movement
dissolve the stability of the scene, creating a
sensation of emotional submersion rather than
physical drowning. Water operates here as memory,
emotion, pressure, and transformation — a living
field that exceeds human control.
In this suspended threshold, the instant becomes Irreversible .
