Don Cornelio y la Zona fue una banda argentina de dark wave liderada por "Palo" Pandolfo, formada en Buenos Aires en 1985. Con solo dos álbumes de estudio, Don Cornelio y la Zona y Patria o muerte (el segundo bajo el nombre de Don Cornelio), la banda supo consolidarse como una de las bandas mas prometedoras de su época, así también como una de las más influyentes. Se separaron en 1990, luego de que la discográfica que producía a la banda rechazara un demo del tercer disco.
