El Erecteion o Templo de Atenea Polias es un antiguo templo-telesterion griego jónico en el lado norte de la Acrópolis, en esta composición dialoga con Helios, la llamarada del sol iluminando al olivo, que en la Antigua Grecia era considerado un árbol mágico que simbolizaba la inmortalidad , vida, victoria, fertilidad y paz cuyo origen se encontraba en los Dioses. Otro símbolo con el que se identificaba eran sus ramas, que transmitían un mensaje de paz y tolerancia entre los pueblos.

The Erechtheion or Temple of Athena Polias is an ancient Ionic Greek temple-telesterion on the north side of the Acropolis, in this composition it dialogues with Helios, the flare of the sun illuminating the olive tree, which in Ancient Greece was considered a magical tree that symbolized immortality, life, victory, fertility and peace whose origin was in the Gods. Another symbol with which it was identified were its branches, which transmitted a message of peace and tolerance among the peoples.
