"Grey Day Pines"

I was in fast water on the St Lawrence among the Brockville Islands. There is a surprising current and the best that I could do was to snap a quick photo of this island as I roared by in the current. There would have been no way to set up my easel! I was attracted by the flagged pines on the island as well as the many different colours of grey.
