Search for liberation in endless flickering space

This collage consists of three of my paintings: "Search for harmony" (2024), "Liberation by wings" (2024), "Flickering Space 1" (2019).
The girls are taken from the first two artworks, and the background is from the third one. I decided to combine the two heroines into one composition, because they are quite close in their content and depict almost the same things.
But at the same time, being close, the components come together, creating a completely different meaning. The girl on the left is facing the right side, personifying the future. But she has closed her eyes, as if not wanting to perceive it. The girl on the right is looking to the left, which symbolizes the past that she knows. It is more pleasant and life-affirming than the future.
She looks through the girl on the left, as if she's not noticing her, despite the small distance between them. This picture is about our quantum twins, existing at different points in the time continuum. When we think about ourselves in the future or remember ourselves in the past, believing that we can give good advice to our younger selves in our minds, or receive advice from our old selves now, this attempt to establish contact is only imaginary. It is like a conversation with emptiness. Memories or assumptions remain only fantasies. Living in the present is very difficult, and in the past and future is illusory. Therefore, any of the positions is burdensome. Birds appear in the role of thoughts - messengers of our personality, capable of flying to where we cannot get on our own. "Flickering Space 1" is expression of the bottomless space of cosmos - the location of our existence and the symbol of the infinity of being. Search and liberation
are two dialectical contradictions. After all, you can search freed from something, and to get free - tired of what you once painfully sought. But it is possible to seek liberation or to be liberated from seeking.
