Silk Roots

Sometimes, while painting, places appear where we have never been. This drawing transports to the vibrant colors of India, with that lively contrast between purple and orange. It is a tree that needs no leaves to speak; its branches rise in search of balance, communicating that sense of wonder we feel before the unknown. A small sanctuary of color for the imagination.
