Me and Fear explores the moment when a person stands before change and feels both attraction and fear. The work is about learning to move forward without waiting for fear to disappear.
Deep black and crimson red create a field of tension, uncertainty and emotional intensity. White, turquoise and golden accents introduce openings of light and movement, suggesting the possibility of clarity within an unsettled inner state.
For me, the painting represents an important stage of human consciousness: understanding that fear does not always need to be overcome or suppressed. It can be experienced, acknowledged and carried with us while we continue moving toward something new.
The work can become a personal visual reminder for someone entering a new stage of life — a move, relationship, creative project, decision or transformation. Its meaning remains open, allowing the collector to connect the painting with their own experience.
