Luis Amer

Born in 1943 in Barcelona, he studied in the same city and obtained a degree in the College of Fine Arts Sant Jordi in Barcelona (1967). In order to explore the secrets of art and discover new ones, he enrolls in the school of Romanesque Art of Sant Cugat del Vallés.He traveled to Portugal, where he lived from 1972 to 1975, and performed various exhibitions in Lisbon, Estoril and Porto. In 1975, he returned to Barcelona where he settled. Winner of several awards included: Scholarship Fundación Amigó Cuyàs, by the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes. Second Prize Pintura Joven Sala Parés. First Prize Patronato Castillo de Montjuïc. Silver Medal of the XXIX Hall of Peace (France). Second Prize in the VII Competition of Painting (Teruel). First Prize CAMPSA 1982. CAMPSA National Award 1983. First Prize Pintura Sant Jordi Competition, Palamos 1984.
