BIOGRAPHY
REYE BLU
Destiny taught me that my true place in the world is at the easel, where vision takes shape through graphite and color.
Realist draftsperson and painter working primarily in fine graphite and mixed media on paper. His work focuses on contemporary still life, figurative studies, and allegorical compositions, distinguished by rigorous draftsmanship, tonal range, and delicate chiaroscuro.
Rooted in the close observation of nature and the legacy of masters such as Ingres, Rafael, and Ramón Gaya, his art explores the interplay between light, metallic reflections, and everyday textures. Each piece is an invitation to contemplative stillness, executed with academic discipline and contemporary sensibility.
