ARTIST BIO
Sanjay Punekar is a contemporary Indian artist whose semi-abstract paintings explore nature, memory, emotion, and transformation through colour, movement, and layered forms. Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, he creates vibrant visual landscapes that exist between reality and imagination, inviting viewers into spaces of reflection and discovery.
For more than two decades, Punekar has actively exhibited in India and internationally through solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, art fairs, and cultural exchanges. His work has been exhibited in India, France, the Netherlands, Russia, and the United States, and is held in institutional, corporate, embassy, and private collections worldwide.
