BIOGRAPHY OF VALEN KANE

Joaquín Zinna (Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina, 2005)—known artistically as Valen Kane—is a self-taught Argentine visual artist.

His artistic practice encompasses painting, drawing, and the exploration of materials and textures, with a particular focus on the human figure, gesture, movement, and scenes of everyday life. His work stems from a personal, experimental quest in which images become a means to explore perceptions, emotions, and facets of the contemporary experience.

Through an intuitive approach to composition, color, and materiality, he constructs a distinctive visual language that oscillates between figuration and a subjective interpretation of reality. His work draws upon both his personal imagery and references from contemporary culture, seeking to develop new expressive possibilities in each piece.

He currently continues to develop his artistic practice independently, working from Rosario and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
