Segundo rey de la IV dinastía de Egipto (ca. 2613-ca. 2494 a. C.), y constructor de la Gran Pirámide de Gizeh. Se dice que su reinado y el de su hijo Quefrén fueron 106 años de opresión y miseria, cosa que quedó desmentida por la reputación póstuma de sabio gobernante que Queops tuvo en Egipto.
