Este cuadro es una obra abstracta en la que predominan los tonos cálidos y terrosos. Se aprecian capas de color marrón, naranja intenso y toques de verde fosforescente, aplicados con textura gruesa que sugiere un relieve casi orgánico. La pintura transmite una sensación de erosión, desgaste o transformación, como si fuese la superficie de un muro oxidado o la corteza de un árbol quemado por el tiempo y el fuego.
La energía del naranja parece brotar y escurrirse, contrastando con la profundidad sombría del marrón y los destellos verdes que evocan brotes de vida o resurgimiento.
