Es la iglesia más antigua de Málaga (s.XV). Construída sobre una mezquita. Torre de estilo Mudéjar. Se erigió en tiempos de la reconquista de Málaga (1487). Cuando paso por calle Granada, donde está ubicada,y aunque vaya con prisas, siempre le echo una mirada.
En esta iglesia fue bautizado Picasso en 1881.
