Esta obra de Labrador esta inspirada en la ciudad del artista, la ciudad de Ceuta, en ella se muestran unas caballas (“mote” con el que se conoce a los naturales de la ciudad) sobre uno de los paisajes más impresionantes de la geografía ceutí, “La Mujer Muerta”, se trata de una sierra montañosa que se puede divisar desde la ciudad y que se asemeja a una mujer tumbada boca arriba.
