Mi inspiración está en la naturaleza, de la cual extraigo formas y colores para representarla de un modo simbólico. Estos cuadros también están inspirados en los elementos atmosféricos, como el viento, la lluvia, o la niebla. En este caso los vientos y he escogido el Siroco ó Xaloc en catalán, como pretexto para inspirarme. Este viento es propio del Mediterráneo y suele llevar polvo rojo del Sáhara, no solo afecta a la Península Ibérica sino a otros países.
En los cuadros pretendo reflejar el movimiento, con pinceladas que marcan direcciones y diferentes manchas de color que sugieren nubes y que también aluden al polvo rojizo africano. Podrían calificarse de abstractos, no obstante entre lo real y lo abstracto hay una línea para lo imaginario, y es la línea por donde discurren mis pinturas.
