La pintura muestra un paisaje costero en calma, donde el mar sereno ocupa la mayor parte de la composición. En el horizonte se distingue una gran península oscura, de relieve bajo y alargado, que corresponde a la Punta de Jandía, en el extremo sur de Fuerteventura. El cielo se tiñe de suaves tonos verdes y azulados, creando un contraste con la silueta oscura de la tierra. En primer plano, la costa rocosa aparece bañada por aguas tranquilas que reflejan leves matices verdosos y azul claro. La atmósfera general transmite quietud, aislamiento y belleza natural.
