Uno de los muchos hórreos que se encuantran esparcidos por toda la geografía asturiana. Este corresponde a la zona oriental ya que tiene el techo cubierto de tejas rojas, en vez de tenerlo con pizarra como en la zona occidental del principado.
Carlos León Martínez was born in Madrid in 1935 and lives there until 1981, when they moved their residence to Luarca. Completely self-taught artist took part in some group exhibitions between 1970 and 1975, in painting and art photography. Back in Asturias, he devoted himself more fully to painting.
