En la composición de ésta pintura se distinguen dos figuras que recuerdan a velas o embarcaciones surcando un mar agitado, con aguas azules profundas y espumas blancas. Las velas están formadas con redes desgastadas, y evocan fragilidad, desgarro y resistencia. El cielo, con tonos verdes y turquesa, se entrelaza con mallas y trazos que refuerzan la sensación de un mundo entre lo real y lo imaginado.
