Artwork details

"Lince" (Lynx) is a captivating oil painting in a 40x50 cm format, from the highly successful "Salvaje-Sofisticado" (2024) collection. This acclaimed series has established a strong presence among collectors, with five original pieces already sold (Tiger, Lion, Giraffe, Zebra, and Bull). The collection stylishly explores the ironic intersection between majestic wildlife and modern urban fashion.

In this portrait, a stunning lynx with piercing green eyes and signature ear tufts commands attention. The feline wears oversized dark-rimmed glasses adorned with a meticulous pattern of tiny red roses. The outfit showcases a vibrant blue denim jacket, masterfully painted with thick, textured oil brushstrokes to emulate the fabric's rich texture. This is layered over a bold crimson turtleneck sweater and a delicate gold chain. The solid mustard-yellow background beautifully anchors the piece, creating a striking complementary color contrast. A powerful and sophisticated addition for contemporary Pop Art collectors.
