An antique mantel clock with a magnificent sculpture of a girl sitting on a bench presents a very realistic scene.
The girl sits in a thoughtful pose. With his left hand, he rests on the drum - the clock. He leans on the bench with his right hand. Small details of clothing and expressive facial expressions.
This performance demonstrates the consideration and reflection of events in life.
There are marks on the watch (see photo No. 9). The watch is equipped with a mechanism – a classic French movement with hour and half-hour strikes, marked with the hallmark “VINCENTI & Cie MEDAILLE D'ARGENT 1855”.
The movement manufacturer, the Vincenti & Cie watch factory, was founded in 1823 and, despite some difficulties, remained among the leaders in French watch production until 1923.
Roman numerals are printed on round enamel. The plinth is rectangular, and richly decorated, plant compositions on four legs, curved in shape. The left hind leg is broken. (See photo)
This is a mechanical 8-day movement.
The clock strikes every half hour and hour. Please also note that the timing and clock sequence of this clock may change upon delivery. Once you receive your watch, take it to a watchmaker for proper adjustment. The statue has its original authentic patina. The left hind leg is broken.
Unpolished. The watch looks good for its age.
