Alienation — Blue Presence

Blue surrounds and almost absorbs the central figure, whose muted pink face remains distinct from the body. Dark marks descend beside the arms, and narrow white lines interrupt the edges. The close relationship between figure and background makes identity feel present but difficult to grasp.

An original work by Gela Mikava from the Alienation series, painted with acrylic and oil on fabric. The series explores human presence, anonymity and emotional distance.
