Artwork details
A yellow figure with a pink face stands against an ochre-yellow upper field and a pale blue lower field. Dark outlines, falling marks and small passages of contrasting color interrupt the garment. In this original abstract figurative painting, Gela Mikava sets a familiar frontal silhouette within a surface that shifts between clarity and dissolution, inviting attention to color, gesture and anonymity.
