Como bien se sabe, fue Carlos III, rey de España, quien ordenó traer a La Carlota (Córdoba), La Luisiana y La Carolina, gentes de Italia, Alemania,...para colonizar y roturar dichos territorios baldíos hasta el momento. De ahí que haya tanta gente rubia (como los niños del cuadro), alta y con ojos azules en dichas poblaciones andaluzas.
