Two Figures, One Boundary

Two figures occupy different levels of a composition shaped by mint green, deep violet and a vivid red-pink sky. Their forms seem to rise out of the painted surface and then dissolve back into it, crossed by long black drips. Two Figures, One Boundary leaves their relationship unresolved: they may share a space, yet remain separated by distance, color and the viewer’s gaze. This large contemporary painting brings a charged human presence to an expressive, fluid surface.
