The work depicts a female figure intertwined with a natural element through the rhythm of lines and fluid graphic structures. The headdress of an Eastern beauty is woven from numerous fish. Waves transforming into clouds form a continuous stream in which the fish move — symbols of depth, memory, and inner knowledge. The half figure acts as a mediator between different levels of the world: water, sky, and earth. Her calm, focused gaze holds this multilayered reality in balance. Detailed graphics, delicate linework, and the choice of accent colors — gold, turquoise, and red — create a sense of quiet strength and constant movement. “Keeper of Currents” presents a guardian figure who maintains the connection between past and present, between natural and human realms. The work explores the idea of an inner current as a form of memory and as a state in which the world regains its wholeness.
