Calatañazor es un municipio y localidad española de la provincia de Soria, en la comunidad autónoma de Castilla y León. Es un pueblo muy pintoresco que conserva su arquitectura medieval. Entre el caserío, con fachadas de tonos ocres y típicas chimeneas cónicas, destacan los muros y torres roídas de un viejo fortín medieval al lado de la iglesia con su gran torre. debajo, el escarpe de rocas calizas, a cuyo pie discurre el río.
Es una joya medieval que conserva parte del recinto amurallado.
