Colores de Otoño

[ES] Esta obra de óleo sobre lienzo, titulada “Colores de Otoño”, captura un capítulo crucial de mi vida, reflejado metafóricamente a través de los cálidos tonos del ocre amarillo que dominan la tela. Al tomar la decisión de forjar mi camino como artista en Mallorca, dejando atrás la familiaridad de Barcelona, donde había residido cómodamente durante tres años, el lienzo se convirtió en una manifestación de mi trayecto. En medio del calor abrasador del verano mallorquín, me embarqué en la creación de esta pintura mientras enfrentaba las presiones de encontrar un nuevo lugar para alquilar. El ocre amarillo, simbólico del otoño, representa tanto el deseo de superar los desafíos del momento como la determinación de abrazar los nuevos comienzos de mi carrera artística en un terreno desconocido. A través de los colores y las texturas de la pintura, transmito la yuxtaposición entre el anhelo de escapar de la adversidad y la perseverancia necesaria para navegar las complejidades de comenzar de nuevo.
[EN] This oil on canvas work, titled "Autumn Colors," captures a pivotal chapter in my life, metaphorically reflected through the warm ochre yellow tones that dominate the canvas. Upon making the decision to forge my path as an artist in Mallorca, leaving behind the familiarity of Barcelona where I had resided comfortably for three years, the canvas became a manifestation of my journey. Amidst the scorching heat of the Mallorcan summer, I embarked on the creation of this painting while facing the pressures of finding a new place to rent. The ochre yellow, symbolic of autumn, represents both the desire to overcome the challenges of the moment and the determination to embrace the new beginnings of my artistic career in uncharted territory. Through the colors and textures of the painting, I convey the juxtaposition between the yearning to escape adversity and the perseverance needed to navigate the complexities of starting anew.
