En mis rutas de viajes para pintar los pueblos de la Comarca del MATARRANYA, el Matarraña de Teruel, Aragón, sigo pintando los paisajes específicos que me interesan como pintor para expresar la atmósfera concreta de cada pueblo, en LA PORTELLADA he pintado la Industria agrícola que se basa en el aceite y el vino tan característicos de estas comarcas que se encuentran junto a Catalunya, excursiones de cierta proximidad a los que accedo desde las tierras del sur de Tarragona, por carreteras sinuosas que me llevan a cualquier parte de estas queridas comarcas. Paisajes con mucho sol en los que las maquinarias agrícolas toman el protagonismo, tonos verdosos en las intalaciones industriales de la Cooperativa Municipal que destacan de los blancos de las casas. En composiones arriesgadas pero también valientes puedo expresar las costumbres de sus habitantes y sus modos de vida. Pintura del artista pintor Ernest descals con acuarelas sobre pepeles de 50 x 70 centímetros.
