Artwork details

The Hermitage of the Virgen del Puerto, situated at the Moratilla Pass, overlooks the entire city of Plasencia and the Jerte Valley. Snow rarely accumulates at this pass, making it a spectacular sight to behold the hermitage when the snow settles on the landscape. The Moratilla Pass was once the connecting route to the lands of Granadilla.
