Este cuadro muestra un paisaje otoñal lleno de calidez y textura. Los tonos predominantes son el verde, amarillo, naranja y rojo, que evocan la transición de las hojas en pleno otoño. Las pinceladas son sueltas y vibrantes, lo que aporta un aire de abstracción lírica, en el que los árboles se levantan estilizados con troncos oscuros y ramas apenas esbozadas, mientras que el follaje parece un tapiz de colores que se funden entre sí.
