Alienation — Turquoise Figure, Red Face

A red face and yellow collar interrupt a turquoise figure against blue and mauve. Thin white lines descend around the body, while darker strokes gather near the hands and lower garment. Warm details draw attention to the upper figure, leaving the rest of its identity open and unresolved.

An original work by Gela Mikava from the Alienation series, painted with acrylic and oil on fabric. The series explores human presence, anonymity and emotional distance.
