Alienation — Turquoise and Rose

A turquoise figure with a vivid pink face stands between blue and mauve fields. Black marks gather around the hands, while fine white lines run down the composition. The face is reduced to color, allowing a direct human presence to coexist with a sense of distance.

An original work by Gela Mikava from the Alienation series, painted with acrylic and oil on fabric. The series explores human presence, anonymity and emotional distance.
