This textured abstract painting is a dialogue between sea and sky, matter and cosmos. The deep blue area suggests an ocean alive with hidden beings: golden particles and fragments of collage emerge as if they were luminous marine creatures drifting beneath the surface. Above, the violet zone opens into a night sky where small constellations appear, while the bright yellow evokes a star or planet radiating energy.
The work invites the viewer to shift perspective, oscillating between the immensity of the universe and the intimate mystery of the sea. Inspired by Emily Dickinson’s poem, the title reflects the subtle step of light that crosses both water and heavens, binding them into a single poetic vision.
My work is an exploration of color, texture, and movement—an intuitive dialogue between emotion and abstraction. Inspired by the fluidity of nature and the spontaneity of expression, I build layers of acrylic, letting each brushstroke guide the next. Light and depth play a crucial role in my process, creating a sense of energy and atmosphere that invites the viewer into the painting’s world.
