This artwork is the second painting in the corbel collection at the city hall in the Plaza Mayor of Cervera, in the province of Lleida, Spain.
Like the previous one, this particular piece depicts one of the five senses—in this case, touch.
In addition to supporting the weight of the structure, these corbels serve as decorative motifs created during the Middle Ages. By sharing this, I want to bring visibility to a heritage that often goes unnoticed.
